Calling all adult education deans, directors, administrators, principals, and lead teachers:

Please join us for the ACE of Florida’s Adult Education Administrators Leadership Institute and the continuation of the New Adult Education Administrators Training.  This training is targeted for the administrator level educator only.

Thursday, February 1, 2018  /  8:30 am – 3:30 pm

$200 (Includes 2 lunches, coffee breaks, transportation to and from the Capitol, and meeting materials.)

Join us in Tallahassee for a 2 day event for all adult education administrators, deans, directors, principals, and lead teachers.  This is a “can’t miss” opportunity for you.

  • Adult Education Ambassador Training – Before you go you need to know: Visiting your state legislators
  • Visit to the Florida Capitol

For New Adult Education Administrators, Deans, Directors, Principals. 

On the afternoon of Feb. 1, the new administrators will meet with FLDOE staff to continue the training that was begun at the ACE of Florida Conference in October.  The new administrators will meet from 1:00 pm- 3:30 pm.

Thursday, February 1, 2018

8:30 am: Administrators meet at Goodwood Museum for the bus trip to the Florida Capitol.  You will be able to leave your car at Goodwood while we go to the Capitol.  After the Capitol visit, the bus will take the participants back to Goodwood for lunch and the afternoon session.

8:45 am: Bus will leave promptly at 8:45 am for the Florida Capitol.
9:00 am – 11:30 am: Florida Capitol Visits, Committee Meetings, visit your legislators, observe House or Senate sessions if they are meeting.
11:45 am: Meet bus for the ride back to Goodwood Museum
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch at Goodwood Museum (included in registration)
1:00 pm – 3:30 pm: New Adult Education Administrators Training at Goodwood Museum
