Media Promotion of the Year-Dan Jankowski
Dan Jankowski is the “mastermind” behind marketing for Brevard County. His creative genius is what brings Brevard Adult Education to life. Everyone around town knows Brevard Adult Education is a proud alternative for students who wish to fulfill their dreams because of him. He helped create a new logo, a new name for the program and a new image.
Business Supporter of the Year-Community Credit Union
Community Credit Union is always willing to come out and work with Brevard Adult Education students on financial literacy. They sponsored the A+ Business Academy which is a job club that helps students explore careers in the financial industry. This past year, they donated over $8000 for staff and student recognition efforts. They invite Brevard County adult education students to help out at some of their other community efforts. Community Credit Union is always supporting Brevard adult education at their graduations, teacher work days and other special events. When Community Credit Union brags about giving back, they do!
Instructional Support Staff of the Year-Casey Cahill
Casey Cahill has always been a leader with an open-door policy for both staff and students. She’s never too busy to lend an ear, help someone with their problem or boost confidence for a group of students entering an uncertain world, who hope to achieve their future goals. She has a passion for students and ensures that there are equitable opportunities for all. It takes a very special person to be able to understand not only the student’s educational goals but their culture as well.
